CSSCGC 2011 — About

At last! We have been honoured with the joy of hosting this year’s edition of the great CSS Crap Games Compo. Inspired by the awesomely, incredibly, ludicrously, horribly crappy Cascade Casette 50, this compo is aimed to choose the worst, less playable, most bug-ridden, most funny, politically incorrect, or just weirdest game. I know the constraints may look everything but constrained. This compo is the most subjectively judged compo ever, and probably the funniest one.

Mastering the arts of crapness is not easy. And this comes from somebody who has won the compo and then almost lost it two years after. The winner may be the least playable game, but also can be the most original, the weirdest, or perhaps the most obscure. We will try to succeed in the almost impossible task of choosing which entry should win, as we don’t have any proper parameters to measure. But we’ll try to make it good.

Appart from the winner, we’ll try to give special mentions to the most original, the funniest, and the weirdest entry. That way everybody is happy.

Besides, to contribute to all the overall crapness, this site is written in English by somebody who has self-taught the language, for the most part, to it will be incredibly broken. It adds up to the mix, innit?
